Rural women constitute 50% of African agricultural labor force and they are responsible for growing 80% of the continents food
We women came together because we were very hungry and there was no food at home. We self organized and went to Victoria Tech where we were trained to start the project of the Bana ba Kgwale Agricultural Cooperative project.
As women we stand together and build the nation, the community, the village. We organized ourselves and think what to do . We were very fortunate that we met the people that were linked to Pick n`Pay.
We were trained. Now we scout in the fields to find the insects. And we have something on the table.
