Reiko Enomoto works as the Training Manager of the Rainforest Alliance, and manages training execution of the agriculture projects of the Rainforest Alliance. She has designed more than 400 visual training materials and tools (videos, posters, guides, manuals, booklets, checklists etc.) to support farmers on standard compliance in 32 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America. She has set-up a quality control system of the training services provided by the trainers worldwide, through which a qualified trainer can become approved and renew their approval status each year. She built an Online Training Platform, which consists of 120 online training courses, online exams, online library of training materials and the database of approved trainers, all available in 6 languages (www.SustainableAgricultureTraining.org). She equips local trainers with a customized local training program and curriculum, visual training materials, participatory training methodologies, and interactive training techniques.
Her IT skills include graphic design, web programming, web design, video and animation production, database management, production of online training courses and online exams. She is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Japanese. Her background includes years of consultancy work in 8 different African countries with FAO, World Bank, USAID, GIZ and private companies, employment/consultancy work with other certification and verification schemes, such as GLOBALG.A.P., 4C, JGAP, AquaG.A.P. and JOIA.
