Lara Koritzke is Director of Development & Communications at the ISEAL Alliance. Prior to joining ISEAL in 2011, she spent 11 years with Rainforest Alliance, one of ISEAL’s member organizations. At Rainforest Alliance her last role was as Director of Foundation, Corporate and Government Relations where she developed global strategy for partnerships. During her time there, she saw and helped the organization grow from a budget of USD 3 million and 30 staff to over USD 40 million and 300 staff and she was involved in the design and development of several of their large-scale capacity building, certification, and impacts projects in Asia, Africa and Latin America. She was also involved in the early development of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. Lara graduated from Yale University and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Cross Sector Partnership from the University of Cambridge. For several years, Lara served as a faculty member of the Kinship Conservation Fellows, where she delivered annual lectures on certification and sustainability standards. She is based in Toronto, Canada.
