Mpule: “I am here to understand how we can create better linkages between agriculture and food security and how Africa can feed Africa”
6 women and 3 men, all from the village of Jericho, improve food security, create new jobs and improve the local economy with their 100% black owned company, a rural agricultural cooperative in the North-West province of South Africa. They have employed more than 150 workers and plan to expand to 1500. There is enough land available to grow more vegetables to be supplied to modern South African retail markets.
