Session Description

Parallel Session “Capacity Building”
How can capacity building for farmers be efficient, sustainable and scalable – what works, what doesn’t and how to avoid reinventing the wheel? How can capacity building be more targeted to women in agriculture?

Breakout Session localg.a.p.
localg.a.p. is the stepping stone toward certification. An efficient solution for markets where quality standards in agriculture are emerging, it helps producers gain gradual recognition by providing an entry level to GLOBALG.A.P. Certification. And it helps retailers gain access to quality foods, support their local and regional producers, and promote Good Agricultural Practice.
