Amer Alkatheeri is currently working as GAP Senior Officer in Abu Dhabi Farmers’ Services Center. Sound communication, teamwork, and project management are among his main skills. Recently, Amer Alkatheeri obtained his Masters degree in Engineering Management and B.Sc. in Horticulture from UAE University. Amer started his professional career as an Extension Officer in the Technical Services Department of ADFSC in 2012. In July 2013, he moved to the Planning and Development Department as a Farm Assurer/GAP Officer then promoted to GAP Senior Officer. Amer is accredited on FOOD Safety Management Systems (ISO 22000:2005), HACCP and is a GLOBALG.A.P. licensed Farm Assurer (Fruit and Vegetables Scope). Since 2013, Amer Alkatheeri has been chosen as member of the GLOBALG.A.P. Produce Stakeholder Committee. Being member of the GAP Implementation team at ADFSC, Amer actively worked as Internal Inspector and auditor for Farm Assurance in Abu Dhabi. He also works as a member of the Strategy representatives Team of ADFSC.

A platform consisting of 4 stagesfrom 4 continents, where an expert group from a specific country demonstrates its success models and innovative solutions. The focus of each session’s presentation will be to show how each business model was designed to adapt to the specific market conditions and requirements. They demonstrate the varied solutions producer groups have developed to meet consumer and market demand for assured farm practices, and show how their producers have benefited from these efforts.
The 45-minute presentations, which include a 15-min Q&A session, will be repeated a total of three times, giving delegates the opportunity to hop from one stage to the next and participate in all the sessions.
